About the Project:
6ix Brix
In the summer of 2015 I began working on my "6ix Brix" project, a study of Toronto landmarks, after being inspired by Christoph Niemann's 'I LEGO N.Y.' a study of iconic New York City images using LEGO Bricks.
My first piece the "Toronto Sign" was to commemorate the sign set up at city hall for the 2015 PanAm Games hosted by Toronto. I continued working on the project brick by brick over the next two years, photographing each completed piece and finally dismantling the entire project by early 2018.
